Just did 7miles in the Clivo

Just had the turbo out on its first road test.

Did 7 miles. Seems to be ok. Slight stutter but im going to swap the plugs tommorrow and see how it goes.

Going for a 14mile trip tommorrow into my work to get valeted and ill stick it on a ramp and check stuff whilst im there.

Im using the biggest cooler i can (without mega bodymods)

Ill give the water cooling a go. If it dont work then at least the coolers getting washed regularly :p

Hmm i might just give this a try.

car is going well, working well. Doing some works on the brakes at the mo. Once thats done the trad plates will go on for soem road test action.

my brother owns a punto gt and over on puntosports.co.uk there's alot of information about this.a fair few gt's have this installed.i am also planning to use this on my clio.For the small amount of money it would cost to setup the kit, i think it is worth it. Any links mate??? Do tehy work well on ...

There seems some debate over teh effects of water cooling the IC. Its somthing i would like to try on the clivo. Although it would be primarly for track days and 1/4 miles. Has anyone done it with definate results?? As said alot of Jap cars use it and if its good enough for Scoobs then its good enou...

Cant remember exactly dave, under £400 a year TPFT all mods declared, most companys won't touch it tho, i'm with Adrian Flux, also have bout 6 years no claims and i'm 30. steve Greenlight, HIC, Brentacre also MCE on tel 0870 4606430 They all deal with modified cars i'm with Greenlight at the momen...

The engine went in with a few mods from the guy i got it from, He told me it ran fine with these bits! Lies! :lol: I have sorted it now any way and on the way to getting all other sensors etc on and working. I wired in the boost gauge and it reads between 6-7psi, its a little hard to read on the ga...
