First thing to say is if you are going to repair it rather than replace it is STOP PRESSING THE WINDOW BUTTON without the tension the wire will get tangled inside the motor very quickly and make repair much harder.
I’m sure I’ve posted pictures of this but at the moment can’t find them.

I may well do that when I start putting everything back together but at the moment that’s a little way off. Did you use them to re-gas the pop-ups?

As you had been in contact with them I thought I would wait to see if they came back to you.
Also since I originally posted my circumstances have abruptly changed and spending is on hold at the moment.

Yorkie's post was from March and he no longer has the car.
You're not wrong about the arches though, as well as the boot floor and doors. Hoping it will be saveable when it's time comes though.

Re: check out the mileage on this one....
I really don’t understand pricing at the moment. Yes it has amazing low mileage but its condition does to me not look a lot different to the Special Edition (with only 55,000 miles) that just sold with one bid of £300. I would have seriously thought about it if my circumstances hadn’t just changed. ...

Re: Fuel pump has no power
Assuming you are checking the voltage at the connector under the rear seats it has 4 wires they should be as follows. Brown – Ground Brown/Blue – Ground Green/Black – Voltage will vary depending on how much fuel is in the tank. Green/Red – 12V when ignition is in position 3 (and may require engine t...

Re: Electric windows and mirrors not working
Note that that book is for the 26 fuse box if you have 32 fuses the fuse numbers are different. Page 76 shows the mirror and rear window heating which share the same fuse but not ground. Page 78 shows electric mirrors. So if your rear window heater works and you have lost both heating (assuming they...

Re: Electric windows and mirrors not working
For your age of car if you have 26 fuses in your fuse box then the windows use fuse 5 and the electric mirrors use 24 (15 for mirror heating). If you have 32 fuses in the box (which is more likely) windows and mirrors are as Sylvia says (and 25 for mirror heating). You need to got back a few years f...

Re: Wanted: pictures of auxiliary water pump installation
I’m getting a little confused reading the parts manual about the pump and hoses.
As far as I can make out the B18E didn’t have a pump till 541516 but the B18F always had it if yours is 507274 is it an F?

Re: Wanted: pictures of auxiliary water pump installation
Sorry miss-read my parts book it’s the other way round which makes sense as my other later car also has the bracket. So up to 541515 had the clamp 541516 on had the bracket. And annoyingly it looks like the pump was turned round at the same time so the hoses to it are different. https://lh3.googleus...

Re: Wanted: pictures of auxiliary water pump installation
Actually while looking at the parts book for hoses I noticed that the bracket above was only used up till 541515, which is sometime in 1989 according to the Vin Reader page, after that it was a clamp which your picture does show, just not bolted to anything. However mine has the bracket and a later ...

Re: Wanted: Lower Radiator Hose
It’s a B18E and replacing all the hoses while the engine is out would be ideal. Replacing the older looking ones would be more of a cost effective option. At £150 for 2 hoses what is a full set of around 14 hoses going to be? Although the top (with aux pump) and bottom hoses are bigger and more comp...

Do you mind saying how much they were going to charge?
As part of my referb I was thinking of replacing some of the older looking hoses so it would give me an idea if my thinking is feasible or not.
