Polar Parts Post-Brexit Update
I don't know if anyone else used Polar Parts as much as I did pre-Brexit but I know they haven't offered UK postage since January. I wrote to them today to ask if UK postage was ever going to become an option again and they said it definitely is but they are awaiting a 'tax number' They said they ap...

Re: Bumber stripes
Hello :D My car came with wrapped stripes so it is very much possible. Looks really tidy. The cost saving action that was taken was that the front and rear bumper were done in 2 halves and slightly overlapped in the centre. It really doesn’t show. This saves an entire length having to be used. Mine ...

Sorry not sorry, as the youth say. The warm weather made me do it. Ignore the state of it out there, due for work in May! Re: 1990 Turbo Auto
Good old Jeff a most helpful chap. I find he is very typical of forum members, a very friendly and helpful place. Good luck with your new mechanic a decent and reasonably priced one is hard to find. I struck lucky with Mark at RS autos, he served his time on renaults before setting up on his own. B...

Re: 1990 Turbo Auto
Looks like a great session. With the blue beam bulb, I wasn't keen on the bright white effect either. I used a blue permanent marker just to give it a blue tint and dulled it down a fraction. It was so nice to get lots of loose ends tied up. I'm a terrible procrastinator so it helps to have another...

Lovely! You really should have him on the cover of GQ magazine next  He's also just spent the past 24 hours explaining how to use photos on here as I continuously had problems using all other sharing sites. So, expect photo heavy posts from here on out! Ha, I'm not quite 'in' with GQ's photo e...

Hope everyone is getting their spring 480 moves on :) We took a trip to the 480est of driveways yesterday and my update here today is mostly going to consist of "and here's Jeff doing xyz a job" photos. Got lots of little jobs done that have been on the list probably for as long as I've had th...

it looks like its shat its nappy    Reminds me of the 80s when we used to have to do PE in pants and a vest.... My auntie used to work for M&S in 'That London', she'd send me underwear to 'last' so it was always a ridiculously long vest tucked into a huge pair of pants....et, voilå; ...

‘Few places on body need welding’.... slight understatement.
It looks like an orthopaedic shoe.
I agree, that is the worst attempt at grabbing, so far.

Re: 1990 Turbo Auto
Edie, that's horrendous !! You paid a lot of money for that car, it shouldn't have needed all that spent on it. I've fallen prey to the 'its a woman, she won't know' licence to print money in the past, but thank god not any more. You got me thinking, so I did a tot up of what I've spent on ...

Hilarious. That's some discount! Just goes to show what chancers (possibly just a chancer lacking any 480 knowledge too) are out there.
We'll see this one get lower and lower, surely.

Re: 1990 Turbo Auto
Haha, yeah. I know I shouldn't. I was trying to sort all the paperwork out so it was in chronological order (Jeff'll like that!) and so that I had some idea of money spent. It was a bit over what I thought but it doesn't mean anything really. It's all done to try and preserve and manage up-keep. Tha...

1990 Auto - Handbook Supplement
As I was going though all my car's paperwork today I came across this supplement the dealer sent to my car's first owner. As this is my first auto I've actually ever owned or driven, it's probably quite useful! I didn't know there was a certain amount of pressure you should put on the button for cer...
