recalibration
nah i've done all that and recalibrated the fuel gague. the later cars have bigger tanks (according to haynes manual) so i assume this is where the incompatibilities arise. everything works fine except the range (which reads low and drop dramatically as u drive after topping up) and the fuel inst an...

Info Centre 91+
I know I have asked for this before, but does anyone have an infocentre computer from a 91 or later 480. I have replaced mine (after very foolishly blowing my original up simply replacing the speedo face!) but with an 89 model but its not quite right. There are incompatibilities with the different f...

alternatiff
I remember I had this problem when I was on this site ages ago doing research. You need to click on "Help" in the left pane and in the FAQ click on the link about not being able to see full images. Then download a TIFF image viewer, I've ued alternatiff (there is a choice of two though) for about a ...

WANTED: Info centre comp. (or full binacle)
If anyone has a known working infocentre computer (the one on the back of the speedometer) then I would be interested. I think it'll have to be off a later model car (min 91-J reg) because the 89-F one I have from a scrappy doesn't read my fuel properly. Would prefer the computer by itself, but if n...

Thank u
Right just got your replies now... thanks, especially for the very indepth wheel lesson. Much appriciated. To be honest I did also have in the back of my mind that 17" might be a little too huge looking anyway. Some Cetus wheels would be great though... I think they make the 480 look fabulous.<br><b...

Don't understand wheel numbers
