Nope. Am sad though, cuz it's a mind over matter sort of thing. Can't afford it, have to drive frugally :( That's how I chose to read "sad" anyways :P

Err.... Did you guys read the same article I did? He seemed reasonably positive about the car. Didn't have all his facts straight, but if the worst you can say about a car is that its owners are Aston Martin owner-wannabes and it's not a real posers car, then I think either your heckling skills need...

Hm. I'm changing my vote to Celeb. But I've never seen GT leather in the flesh (get it, get it? :P ) and well, as of today, I own a Celeb, so I might be a bit biased :)

Dear Ted

Dear Ted, I hope you can help me here. The other day I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching the TV as usual. I hadn't gone more than a mile down the road when my engine conked out and the car shuddered to a halt. I walked back home to get my husband's help. When I got home I cou...

Hrmph. So to the uninitiated (to the apparent hate-or-loveliness of the GT): any pics of the GT interior? I voted whah-evah regardless, but then I have 480-withdrawal.

After I'd changed the oil on my previous 480, for some reason the sump plug didn't thread in correctly. "Luckily" the clutch cable decided to snap so I took it to a garage before it ran dry (I hadn't noticed it was leaking at all until they told me in the garage after they'd had a look at what neede...

AVG free atm. Was going to switch to Nod32, as it is (at the moment) apparently the best overall. AVG I think can't be beat for a free program though. The only times I've seen AVG update slow down a machine, is when program version was one down from latest. Updates start to go up from a few kB to MB...

Your Celebration

Hi, As JohnTurbo says, you could probably get pretty decent money from someone on eBay or some such and I certainly don't want to come off as a leecher, but I am very much looking for a good example of a 480 again. I can only just about stretch my funds to about 700, maybe 750 though. Let me know if...

I went in to a Volvo dealer to ask them about servicing when I got my 480 and they sorta said "yeah, we'll do it, but we do, we'll need to make sure your car is up to our standards and to look will be £750 plus whatever costs for labour on top of that to get it up to scratch. So no, I didn't go f...

FOR SALE - Spares/Electric whiz - Blue ES

I've decided to sell/get rid of the car, so here goes: It's a 1990 G-reg ES in blue. Re-registered though, so chassis/VIN number doesn't match the registration. It's nearing 120k miles and if it hadn't cost me an arm and a leg in the past few weeks I would have had the cam-belt done. Good (well, for...

Thinking of packing in too. This morning I woke up to my gf saying I'd left the lights on. Went outside and it was the breaklights  Started the car, no change, drove a metre forward and backward, lights out. Got out, closed the door, lights go back on. Rinse, repeat, lights out. Went back ins...

Not to be a twat, but what can you do with your degree? Do you design graphics for websites, ads, movie sets? Is there such a thing as specialization at all? I just think it makes a huge difference whether you can tell a prospective employer specifically what you can do. Graphics design sounds... va...
