Or get the original Volvo one rewound - I was told they are better quality. We had Lily's done by Just Alternators and Starter Motors on James' recommendation and very happy with them.

No idea when during 1989-90 the change was. Information is from the translation of a Dutch book I've been English-language editing. The parts list may shed some light if it gives chassis nos the cat fits.
