well i started stripping all the suspension and took it to get shot blast and powder coated ,what i could renew was renewed ,new shock ,lowering springs, link bars ,all bearings,bottom arm bushes I tended to get a little p#ss#d off with so much work to do, so little time inbetween jobs made it beara...

well after i'd took the 480 off the road i did miss the power,so eventually decided to put back on road after about 2 years and me thinking that i'd just take for mot and it would pass was stupid of me ,brakes were seized and all suspension was corroded to hell brake pipe corroded heavely,little gar...

hi, wouldnt it have whined before belt change?and with tensioner being so new, but car has been stood for about 3 years

hi, no just the belt,i took the tension off and cleaned up but really it has only been on car for about 2000 miles as last one shattered luckely no damage occured

hi, just replaced cambelt and now have whine from cambelt area i asume is belt too tight or is this norm with 480's,,,89 turbo

hi, the side skirts are off an astra g ,they were too long so had to cut then modify ,in the process of fibre glass matting them inside to strengthen and outside too,and yes i havent posted on forum for a while ,so trying to find earlier rebuild pics to post, cheers

hi , i've bled it about four times, and works okish for about five miutes then crap again ,possible leak in system??

were shall i start ,renewed all brake pipes ,removed all abs wheel sensors,and having great difficulty bleeding ,seems to work ok for a few minutes then crap again ,fluid reservoir rises considerably after i pump brakes a few times ,could this mean lots of air in system?,warning light comes on also ...

hi,i bought 2 480 from salvage about 7 years ago one with front end damage and one with engine fire ,this one had 230,000 miles , whether genuine i dont know

very nice ,any other mods in mind?and yes it does look very happy

hi all, finished front end at weekend ,just to finish both quarters and roof ,had richmod in for nearly a year and i havent even tried it.

hi took cem apart and contacts seem fine ,had circuitboard under microscope and all joints seem fine ,new cem it is ,also did self test mode and fault straight away. [/u]

hi,well i have taken cem apart and cant see anything that would cause light to stay on ,i have found relay that works blinkers on cem and lights blink if play about with it and then stops again . is there a cure for this or is it new cem at £188
