thats the sort of good news I was hoping for.
It seemed logical that with higher boost, there would be more exhaust gas, and therefore a bigger exhaust would make a big difference.
Nice to have it confirmed,
Thank you!

seat mounting torque bit?
Hi,
My 480T has been leaking a little over winter. I am in the process of stripping the interior out so that I can clean it / dry it.
Does any one happen to know what 'bit' is required to get the front seat bolts out??
Cheers

Any idea how much power a custom exhaust could give? I have a richmod already, so guessing the extra exhaust gas needs to go somewhere. Anyone here done this already, can provide some pointers? I'm a little worried the off boost power will suffer. Any suggestions of companies to do it? I'm based in ...

turbo tuning, whats next?
Hi all,
My k reg 480 Turbo is finally running well!
I have a richmod that runs nicely.
I'm wondering what the next step in tuning should be?
Take stage 0 (full service etc) as a given.
I don't really want to turn the boost up any higher.
Is an exhaust system up next?

t's more likely that wheels falling off is due to incorrect torque values when tightening than for any other reason. IMO. well yes, obviously, taken to the extreme... lol its interesting that the 'seat angle' could cause a hub nut to come loose. Now you mention it, the point of contact between the ...

UV dye in coolant - Awesome idea! :) The aux water pump is a little corroded around the entrance, exit pipe, but doesn't seem to leak. I am guessing that the higher pressure caused by the trapped air is causing lots of places to leak slightly. After a 30 mile drive, about half a pint of water is gon...

air in cooling system
It seems I have a lot of air stuck in my coolant system. I squeesed the thick water pipe comming from the right top of the engine. Loads of air bubbled out of the expansion tank, + was very easy to squeeze. My turbo whines slightly sometimes when the car is cold. I thought this might be an oil probl...
