I got a turbo timer off e-bay for £30 ish IIRC, reasonably easy to fit.

the multipoint renault 1.8 8v engine is 113 bhp
are you after the water temp sender sensor

115bhp in 60"s is pretty good power imo

i dont know the car but sounds like either a lambda sensor or a sticky throttle valve problem . check the both.
-disconnect lambda sensor plug and see if it makes difference to test it

multipoint injection head is different, as the injectors go into the head. If u want turbo power then just transplant one. If u set ureself plenty of time, and have some decent tools handy, then u'll have no probs. The volvo/renault engine is whats called a "common rail" engine. It's actually used ...
