Why are some bits of 480's so bloody hard to destory or damage, seems like volvo expects it's customers to go stock car racing! Then other bits like window regulators are SHIT! My window regulator broke about a month ago (the usual crappy plastic clip breaking). Got a second hand one from another us...

I have had loads of problems that sort them selves out. erratic head lights...... when over a speed bump a bit too fast, problem cured! Get the pulley kit done at the same time as the belt...... I had my belt changed, then 2000 miles later one of bearings exploded! Had to have a new pulley kit and another cambelt :angry: (it was pure luck that it did not cause more damage) Get it done for peace of mine...... Oil filter, air filter, ...

Are you gunna DIY it with megasquirt? or go with a brand name ecu? dizzyless?

Its only a very basic system that control wheel spin from standing (not round corner ect like modern systems) so anyone with even an ounce of driving skill can control wheels spin ...

Dont get me wrong I love the car! But..........its a bloody nightmare everyday something different goes wrong then magicaly fixes its self never to rear its ugly head again, parts are expensive, the engine management is over complicated with way to many sensors, electronic dash (asking of problems),...
