Re: info center

It's started working now, when it did, it ran through the usual oil ok, range, then onto the selected function.

It's got me puzzled!!

info center

Hmm... got in the car this morning and it seems my info center has given up the ghost! :( It has played up before, about a month ago, it refused to do anything a couple of times, but after a few minutes of driving, sorted itself out. Also been losing it's memory. Oh... Once the display went all craz...

Re: Finally...

Good times :D I've only had my Celebration a month or so, but something tells me it's gonna end up like my Capri... With me for life!! I'm loving the amount of attention it gets, 3 seperate people stopped to talk to me about it today... Not many cars that attract that sort of attention these days ;)...

Re: cooling/rad fan

Hi Nick, I've got a wierd one with my fan, it sometimes doesn't cut-in until around 93C, I've even seen 97C before now!! When it does kick in, I can sometimes hear the relay sounding like it's struggling, clicking a few times before the fan eventually starts. Are the relays prone to failure?? I've c...

Re: UK Meet Up & UK Register?

+1 for Leeds :D I'm only up t'road!! Would be good to meet up with some fellow 480 nutters... Saw another 480 in Manchester yesterday, for the first time since buying mine... flashed my lights, waved, pretty much hung out of the window... Nothing!! Presume he/she will not be attending!! Re: wheel size?

Thanks, but I've got my eye on a couple of potential wheels.

So... Has no one got any ideas on this?

I thought maybe some of our European friends might be able to help, as they seem a little crazier when modifying!!

Thanks,

wheel size?

Hi, I'm quite new to 480 ownership in the shape of a '96 Celebration and I'm looking at the possibility of fitting some different wheels. It's just something that I always do, I just think that it makes my cars feel a little more individual, My Capri's sat on 16" TSWs, my 960's on 18" Pegasus' and I...

Re: Central door locking

Mine centrally locks from the driver's door only ('96 Celebration) I'll admit it was me who sparked this off, it just puzzled me how when using the key in the passenger door, the motor operates, making me think that there was a motor in the driver's door which was faulty. Thanks all, Steve :hopping:

Re: spicing up a B20

Thanks Jim,

But I was thinking of something that didn't involve an engine crane... Had enough of them after lumping a straight 6 diesel into my 960!! :(

spicing up a B20

Hi all,

I've recently bought myself a Celebration and I'm thinking of trying to get a little more power from the 2.0

So I was wandering if anyone knows if there are any cams available etc, presumably chips are a waste of time as it's N/A.

So, has anyone got any ideas??

Thanks,

Re: My Very Odd Looking Vehicular Object

Hey, from a fellow new 480 owner: HELLO :hopping: I always fancied one too, and now I have one, I'm loving it's quirks and charm... Not loving the build quality on the headlights though (Don't try to lean on them while they're closed in a kind-of "How cool am I?" manor, or they WILL break!!) But I s...
