Clearly this car is not worth £5000. However, I'm not sure the Benefit in emailing him to say it's only worth £500! Surely it has to be worth more than £500..... Yes, that was around what I paid, both times I think. It wouldn't have got done if it had been much north of that, and I'd have baulked at £400

Done this a couple of times in recent years - it is worth checking out specialist local suppliers, who are more often than not willing to order one in and fit it carefully than the national chains.

From memory it was around a couple of hundred pounds, but well spent!

It is worth checking the earth strap underneath the battery tray too, as this sometimes furs up and can cause batteries to discharge faster than normal (in my experience.
