Nah I don't go for it. How could that cause it to move around at speed along the road? So it's had new bushes on the old wish bones?

What way does it move over to then driving?

Yes use a standard airbox and maybe a good filter then expend the air intake pipe to front of car to cold air.

Do not use a cone filter in the engine bay.

2nd. I think you have non vented disks so change calipers and discs for vented.
