I came across this problem as changing oil seal and was extremely tight so I left it alone 'so maybe its just the tight fit that poses the problem and seizes in place due to age

If the mounts are bad then try rocking from left to right 'i didn't get much play facing engine and rocking ' how is the damper on belt side 'maybe able to see with bonnet up and handbrake on and then using reverse then first for any movement Shouldn't move a great deal

My engine mounts are worn and when blipping the throttle at say 60mph the engine would make the car jolt and quite bad vibration on revs about 2000 when pulling away if any help

Well after months of checking various info centres and fuel senders and wiring and sensors for engine temp have finally found the culprit in a block connector behind the glove box ' after opening up and cleaning everything Is working as it should 'even my rear wiper has come into life so this connec...

Hi jim the chip no is 582 and I have a spare but capacitors look rather suspect and have replaced capacitors on my origins board but yet to try 'problem I'm having is no coolant temp on ic and same with fuel gauge 'have checked fuel pump resistance and all fine as with sensor on head ,going to repla...

Wondering if anyone knows of what the relay is on the back of my clocks ' have other instrument clusters but no other has this relay on the circuit board and can hear it click upon ignition key?

Well come to conclusion that my fuel gauge reading one bar and water temp gauge are connected sonewhat ' is there a voltage regulator that could cause this or maybe the circuit board itself? running out of ideas fast so any ideas would be great ' thanks

Hi all ' my fuel gauge on info centre is showing one bar permamently whether i add fuel or not ' checking fuel pump values ans all seems in order as are all connectors' any ideas? i have also changed the ic module to no avail ' thanks

Maybe used the wrong description but meaning temp sensor under dizzy cap with the one wire

Hi ' i had similiar problems with mine and nothing associated with fuel pump 'mines an 89 turbo and doesnt make ' a noise until turning key ' relays on mine are under right hand side near fuse box ( two together) my problem was cold start sensor as could yours be ' hope this helps

Ive found a blown transistor on board but whether anything else has blown i dont know ' have new transistor on way so will replace that first and go from there ' it never rains it pours :-\
