Re: 460 flickering lights
I think it's easier actually if we just say £50 including postage! It saves us messing about with how much the postage is etc. I will pm you my PayPal.

Re: 460 flickering lights
According to JIm the air con car has a beefier alternator but it fits all cars. From my google search this type comes up for all 480's anyway so yes it will deffo fit.
Postage I recon will be about £8 but I will have to check it out.

Re: 460 flickering lights
Hey Steve, Here are a couple of pics. It's a Lucas A13N241. It's not quite as new as I seem to remember it being but as you can see it is pretty new, just a little bit of oxidisation. I remembered it as being brand new for some reason so in light I think £45 plus delivery seems about right for it? T...

Re: 460 flickering lights
Yeah it's bang out of order though! The council are also to blame for putting in these silly staggered hump speedbumps that make everybody swerve everywhere. They don't actually really slow anybody down and now they also speed and swerve... I'm actually looking to sell my black 480 now too and had j...

Although, I'll probably have it anyway TBH!

Saw 'Mr 928' again on Dansteed Way but never when I'm in the 480. I still haven't had chance to raise and flash the lights :( Yes! It's ME again! Tom the Turbo has been tearing up the roundabouts in MK again on the way to mix it up with the Audi's in the car park at the VW National Learning Center....

Re: 460 flickering lights
Ha no worries mate. Keep the drl's as a gift, you didn't know that the sensor was rubbish! BTW I have now fully tested the batch that your drl's are from and they match very very well to Osram nightbreaker + headlight bulbs and are a better match then the other slightly warmer bulbs that I can also ...

Demonic Possession.....?
I have a practically new alternator if your one turns out to be buggered.
BTW did you get my message about he Ebay sensor. It doesn't work so if you need to replace that sensor again. Don't by that one!

I am breaking a paris blue 480 turbo now if you still need that bump strip and info center knob?
Hopefully I could get the bump strip off in one piece!

Hi there, due to the cam belt snapping on my first day of using my most recent 480 I am having to break it so it looks like you may be in luck... I have : * Full leather black and grey interior with black trim for the doors and dash all in very nice condition. £100 * Plastic dash surround in very go...

Re: warm b18ft surging idle and bad starting
Just to let you know that ebay sensor doesn't seem to work...I tried it and it is basically like not having a sensor at all. I have got another working sensor from my now dead new blue car (lasted nearly one day before the cam belt snapped...gutted) and the car was working fine for nearly a day when...

If you can't find one there is the company wrc composites that can make you one and they also do them in carbon fiber. Prices are £55 and £100 if I remember rightly.

Running light Connector
I was just installing some of my led running light bulbs on the new 480 and found that the bulb connector on the drivers side is only two pin and the bulb is a different type. I'm presuming the wrong connector has been fitted unless anybody else knows otherwise? I haven't tried swapping the bulb hol...

Re: I might have discovered why the rear wiper won't park..
That sounds good. Replacing them is a terrible job. Yeah I don't want to do it if I don't have too and the actual wires apart from the broken one are holding pretty well, It's mainly the insulation that has fallen apart. I recon it will be ok once the glue lined heatshrink has worked it's magic. It...

Re: I might have discovered why the rear wiper won't park..
I hope your repair will last. Else read stuck with replacing rear window wiring loom to get inspiration for the job. Thanks for that mate. I have ordered in some 24mm 3:1 black adhesive lined heat shrink to go over all the wires. Once fitted it will really keep it watertight and take the strain off...
