This comes with a set of Volvo mats and a roller cover - worth more than the £99 it's currently at !

Re: Burgundy in Wieringerwerf -NL

The army and military police use similar license plates with an identical scheme that are however not registered in the public license plate database as mentioned by Brinkie. Also members of the Royal Family seem to use counterfeit plates. During a certain period, reissued license plates could have ...

Re: Burgundy in Wieringerwerf -NL

Wieringerwerf is home of a Volvo 480 mechanic. This could be one of his customers, his workshop is next to the Avia petrol station (next to the A7 exit). He has a Flame Red 480 for parts and drives a Dark Grey himself (and a DAF 66). The Dutch registered car with an elder driver -by coincidence the...

Re: Some episodes from the life of my 480

In a store I peeked into the current issue of the Dutch Autoweek classic car magazine. It features a story about the 480 convertible and interviews with designers Rob Koch and John de Vries. Being Dutch I didn't buy it and from memory a few interesting facts that may for that reason be less accurate...

Still debating whether to follow jifflemon's advice and add a coat of nail varnish. Anything bigger would go on the polishing wheel with jeweller's wa...

Re: Final Details for Mini-Meet Saturday 6th May

This really was a great day. So many lovely 480's and all with interesting stories. A beautiful setting too. Thank you so much Syliva for all of the organising. It was great to meet you all - and the cars, names and plates I seen for so long and now I've met them! I really enjoyed the convoy. If on...
