looks nice, but not very straight .. if you got enough air left between your car and the ground, try to avoid bends (is that the right word ?), if possible. There is no extra space between car and ground. I just made the exhaust like the original is made but with bigger pipe. Unless your going over...

Unless your going over 350 bhp dont bother with 3" exhaust.

2.5" is good til around 250-260 then 2.75" is good until 350

Theres not enough space on the 480 to have a "good" 3" system IMO.

I had the Peco system on my 480 and loved it

Re: 480 Turbo + ££££s in mods = Ferrari beater!

Earlier this PM I was at a Halfords having my light bulbs changed (long range ones, i'm a newbie!) and got chatting about my car with a motor mechanic. This is what I learnt; £4000 approx for turbo bearings upgrade = up to 500 bhp Air intake mod = up to 15 / 30 bhp Larger intercooler = 40 /50 bhp ...

I know it doesn't have much torque, that why it's complemented with a supercharger. But I like the looks of a 16v under the hood. And an additional compressor looks the business, doesn't it? I have found some pictures of someone who has done it before. I don't have a digital camera right now, other...

I see you're well prepared for this operation.
Before doing this ask guys who have Clio 16V why did they put Volvo turbod engine instead of tuning 16V Ranault's engine.
Because the 16v has bugger all torque!

I'll change it if you drive to glasgow. A belt is £20 and you needent bother with the tensioners if they dont sound rough and you arent planning on keeping the car. A cambelt change at a garage will only cost £90 tops if you dont fancy the drive :) Try Lee, he lives in Birmingham! Lee and freetim...

Isn't that what the electric pump on the 480 turbo is for? If the timers are so good how come all the factory turbo cars like SAABs, Subarus, Volvos etc don't have them, (at least as far as I have seen)? Volvo seem to have engineered all sorts of protection and durability into the 480. Surely they ...
