Re: b16f to b18e, ecu problem - help needed

Maybe the flywheel causes the problem ?
Does that flywheel have the same amount of teeth as the original one ?

Re: Blue ecu interchangeable with red/maroon

I will explain why I want a double pcb : This has a chip you can remove and is easy to "chip". I need this for my project with bigger turbocharger, other injectors, B18E cam etc. That's why I need one, I had one but sold it. So again the question wich ecu has double pcb and will run on a 1995 GT-tur...

Re: Blue ecu interchangeable with red/maroon

I know Jimmy, but after 1991 cars do not run on pre 1991 ECU's due to changes in flywheel etc.

So, I still need a double pcb ECU that will run on a 1995 GT-Turbo.

Re: Blue ecu interchangeable with red/maroon

Bloody hell,

I need a ECU with double pcb to fit onto my 1995 GT-Turbo that has original blue ECU in it.

Thougt Maroon was the way to go, but unscrewed 5 maroon ones and no one had a double pcb.

Someone knows wich colour ECU has double pcb and will run on a 1995 turbo ?

Thanks and greetz

Also worth knowing, inside that insulated "tube" is a resistor, not just a electric or data conducting wire.

chip

Those resistors do not change fuel delivery. The chip does alter the parameters of the fuel delivery. Resistors change throtthle response and turbo pressure. Only way to be 100 % sure you received a genuine Richmod is to check parameters by reading the chip. But then the question arrives : what are ...

clutch

It seems that stock clutch 200 mm is stronger and better then later stock 215 mm. I also recommend a reinforced 215 mm clutch or an other stronger clutch that will fit. You could take a look at SRE clutches, but a clutch set will set you back at least 600 Euro's. The 200 mm (when new) can cope with ...

strut brace

Someone made a series of these strutbraces, I thought this chap came from Belgium, but it's long ago.
I also had one, but welding and holes weren't quality made.

BTW : nice cooling liquid reservoir

ECU

That's the stupid thing, I know Lee personally from meetings, but as told before, he doesn't react on phone or mail anymore. And another weird thing is that Grafi got his ECU last week friday in Hungary, and my ECU was told to be shipped at the same time. And still no ECU here. Laserowl already did ...

Well, you can easily check the things I wrote about.
If it aint these things you can change your dampers I think, It's all about deleting possibilities.

ball joints

I suspect the track rods or steering rods (are these called like this ? I am not sure) I mean the ball joints at the end of the steering rack left and right, and also the ball joints that join the hub with the wishbones. You can also check the stabilizer rod, has also a ball joint on each side. Hope...
