Yep. You're right.
White to white /grey.
Black to black.

Re: Motorbike sidecar with 480 front orange indicator light
There has been a small Italian manufacturer who used actual Volvo 480 front lights. Can't remember which one, though. Think Robert, think! Though this has been previously discussed in other threads, how is the Dutch Club search of the rear lights molds? Last I read was that Hella? destroyed them ba...

Re: Cigarette Lighter
Take off the ashtray. Unscrew the one at the bottom. Remove cube on top of the ashtray (or equalizer if you happen to have one) et voilá. The bulb holder is a black plastic brick, replace the bulb. That side beam light is perfect as it heads one beam towards the ashtray light and the other to the ci...

Getting to the bulb is quite easy. Re: Front speakers
4x6 was my choice, though as said, don't fit straight in and needs some drilling of the plastic. I went for coaxial ones but fitting a 2way may be possible.
Tomorrow I will be at the car. I will send some pictures if the blunder I made.

Re: Front speakers
For rear speakers you mean the ones in the side pannel of the cubby hole ones? I have the cubby hole setup and when it came the time to replace them I found they're specific measure for the hole. No manufacturer makes an aftermarket replacement for them. I managed to fit after some DIY, and some iso...

This car looks terrific. Colour, stripes, Vesa Alloys. It well deserves a proper restoration.

Re: Heated seats wiring
Looks nice that interior, and the connectors are almost on their way to you :) Yes John. it looks superb. If you allow me to tell, John did the great favour, that only a true 480 enthusiast can do, of bringing me the whole interior leather set ( celebration pannels, dash stripes and both sides heig...

Re: Heated seats wiring
Yes. I tried the Partsbook first thing. The two sides of the socket come with different part numbers . Google search sends you to the usual USA Volvo sites or western Europe "pay me my friend, then I will search, say it's not available and in a two month time you'll have your money back (company pol...

Now to the heated seats connectors. For all the electricians , machanics and ingeneers aroung the fórum this must look like a monguer-level job. Yes, that’s the level. So I have theese two connectors on the back of the central console and a button pad with the heated seats buttons that came to me wi...

Re: Heated seats wiring
Those pictures of the seats were taken like 45 mintes after aplying the wax, once I had all the plastics, knobs and levers back in place around the side of the seats. The day after part of the shine was gone, thank God, and the leather looks close to new. I will try and post pictures of the final re...

I have there two connectors. A red one and a white one. What'...
