Re: Genuine Volvo Washer Jets Available to Order (P/N: ‎3400

Today I changed the ols washer jets for the new ones. Getting to a new unopened for the last 25 years part of the car is a box of surprises. The usual lots of dirt. Insects, leaves… Removing this plastic screw-clips holding the plastic panels where the washers and wipers go is not a pleasant job. Th...

Does that mean that you can still find new rollers?

Mine is fine, but new is new.

I would also like to replace all my hose system along with a new pump and radiator.

How much are we talking about for the hose set, give or take?

Re: 480 Strange Electrics

In the past I have tried many different kind of LED bulbs for DRLs. As Robert says, most of the Ebay Chinese bulbs are a pile of shit. Individual leds fall from their solderings when they heat. They heat a lot. Having that said no Led bulb has ever caused any gremlin in my 1991 Turbo. It's just a ma...

Re: headlight motor needed

I don't have a spare motor but I am sure "The Dutch Crew" will provide you a perfect tested one.

A couple of years ago some other American owner showed up in the forum, so now it's two of you at least.

Please tell us more about this car and post some pictures.

Re: Volvo 480 tail lights

The rearlights I had for sale on Ebay didn't sell finally. They had a 200 euro starting price and a 375 "buy it now" option. I have them now for sale on the Gumtree-like Spanish site. https://www.milanuncios.com/otros-recambios/luces-faros-traseras-volvo-480-235897318.htm As I explained in the Ebay ...

Yes.

I thought I had enabled Europe shipping, but it wasn't. Thanks for that. Of course I will ship to the UK. Pictures don't make justice about how shiny theese two are.

Up!

Re: Cruise Control - make the 'cruise' light work

I think I've found a way around to make the CC light work only when the pump is engaged without having to mess with the intruments board to avoid burning he board again. Its a T5 LED bulb into a conventional T5 Socket wired directly from pin 1 of the CC and then grounded to the under-the-dashboards ...

Re: Cruise Control - make the 'cruise' light work

Bringing back to life this old thread as I'm going to mount a CC into my 1991 Turbo in a couple of weeks. When you /they say managed to make the Cruise light work only when the pump is acting, meaning the CC is engaged, is you wired from pos. 1 of the CC control unit to pos. 9 in the green socket at...

Re: Smoke in the speedo

Gutma. Maybe you don't want to give up, this soon with your infocenter, but I have gone exactly through the same history with mine (including smoke coming from the infocenter board) and the wisest thing to do, which will save you money and time, is to send the speedo to Robert and let him take a loo...
