Volvo 480 Club Europe

Hardly a new problem, really, from previous posts on this forum, but I think one of my headlamp pop-up motors has gone. The hinges had failed and been replaced some time ago but before my recent MOT my garage guy had warned me that the motor was being sluggish. It got though - but now, a month later...

My "new" (1994) 480ES needs an annual service soon. I'm not impressed with the cost or quality of main dealer servicing (well, I liked the Rudds operation in Colliers Wood but it's long closed). Can anybody recommend a good garge for servicing? I did try asking this question in another forum but som...

The title says it all. I've just bought a 1994 480ES. It needs a service soon.

I'm not too impressed with Volvo main dealers. Does anyone have any recommendations for a South (better, SW) London garage?

I'm not sure this is the right forum - but none of the others seem to fit!

Just to say that I'm open to ANY offers for this car - the practicalities of insurance and parking in SW4 mean that when my "new" 480 arrives on Thursday poor old F354 TEW goes off to auction or a breakers!
