ive not fitted the new one yet.but its the same looseness as on the car but the new one ive got is smaller than the one on the car :D will fit it tomorrow

right its all back too standard.i did turn the wastegate actuator arm 4 times in and it boosts just before the middle.but i still think the wastegate actuator is totally had it.its so lose and i know it should be very tight and i can hear the air getting throught the wastegate actuator so im going t...

No it won't. The solonoid stops the pressure going to the actuator in the first place. When the solonoid is open (no power to it) then the full manifold pressure goes to the wastgate. When the solonoid has power then the valve inside closes blocking the pressure from getting to the wastegate actuat...

They don't really move too easily by hand.. Is it not an idea to make sure it's all working before installing the mbc? If I were you, i'd put it all back as it was... See how high the boost goes on the gauge in say 3rd. Just over half way / 3 quarters is normal. Where did you get your MBC? Maybe it...

ive had a look at the link and its installed the same way :( but with no boost :angry: :angry:


could some one check there wastegate actuator and see if it moves very easy please.cos its the only thing i can think of.all the pipes and stuff have been checked and there all ok cheers

the car was working fine.its the same with the mbc on. when i turn the thing too the end then it will boost alittle? it seams the wastegate actuator is not strong and its not making the car boost propley :( im going to take the mbc off now and try it the other way round

i have the info clocks on my car how easy is it too change for the normal clock with a rev,petrol,speedo,and water?because ive got a oil and boost gauge im going too install and i clocks are fcuked on mine cheers

i cant notice any nasty smells from the exhaust like petrol i think i will book it in for a tune up and full diagnostic and see if they can sort the problem out :) cheers for the help all :wink:

my car is eatting up petrol. i put £30 petrol in the other day and i cant even get 200 miles from it. :eek: :eek: what could cause this problem because the car is running good?
