swearing 'bout gas prizes can be done in english ....
(and will be done because 1,33€ for a liter of Super (95) is to be considered cheap .....)

I still don't understand why they made the bonnet from 'plastic' I think its heavier than a metal bonnet would have been. For the nose cone i'm happy enough that it's not metal as it is the stonechips don't rust ;) In this image all plastic parts are marked red (without interiour of course) http://4...

Well, that could explain the preconceptions people over here have about drivers from NL ;) If could driving drunk we loose the license for time depending on the amou...

For Germany i've been told by a dealer, that all dealers pay the same price for the parts to volvo and it's their decision how much they charge from customers.
So the prices can vary heavily from dealer to dealer (wich they don't most of the time but there are alway dealers who want to much)

Isn't the cabling for the Sorry Hauke...i overlooked that post. Where abouts would that be located then?? Very handy thing to know that... At the drivers side are two spade connectors (female) coming out of the cable harness (the one for the ignition lock IIRC) directly over the hole the lights fit...

So now i know why the TÃœV demands that the + connector at the battery has a cover on int ..

But it's as ally wrote, if you connect + to earth directly there will be really high current

When i got my new front seats, it took me maybe half an hour (if it even was that long) to swap them.
Might have helped that it was a very warm summer day, but it seems as if not all 480 seats are such hard nuts to crack.

If you don't fix the cables be sure to insulate them with some tape at least.
They're out in the wet, and if you get an good contact between the 12v for the rear demist and earth say good bye to your CEM.

(or never use the rear demist)

martin I second you on behalf of the oil-additives, but we were not thinking bout mixing our oil with snake-oil.
I don't think that fixing the sparkplug with ptfe tape would do any more harm than an engine running on 3 cylinders until the tape is removed.

PTFE is useful for temperatures up to ~260°C (at temperatures above 400°C you get toxic gasses) How hot does the head get?

I think the plug needs every little bit of earth to produce a good spark, so maybe the insulating effect is a problem.

AFAIK the switch is the same for all ICs. The IC by itself differs depending on the size of your fuel-tank (48 or 60l) and possibly there is a minor modification needed for different engines (I think the infos can be found in the forum, if not someone will need to look in the service-manuals) 4 poun...
