Squeal when cold and after braking

Hiya. The beast is squealing at me when cold, (slipping fan-belt-type noise), which also shows as a voltage drop on the meter. Once she's been running for a minute or so sqealing stops and voltage goes up to normal. Then, here's the weird bit, drive up the road for a bit, use the brakes and the sque...

FOR SALE - Pre-MoT 480 Turbo AUTO 63,000 Miles - London, UK

I'm using my car less and less these days as I'm now living very close to work, and Mr Livingstone is trying to tax us all off the roads. I don't think it's fair to my lovely 480 Turbo to not play with her as often as I should, so it maybe coming to time to part. So, I'm either going to see if anyon...

Hiya

It's the smaller one - ie. the mirrors that are pinned just at the bottom and not all along one side.
Colour code is 306 - smoke silver metallic.

It's the light grey / silver colour.

Thanks

Alternatively, I'll take a matching pair of dark grey ones? Black? Anything? Hey I'm easy

Engine (Water) Temp not working & what's all those tubes

Hi. My temp readout for the engine always shows COLD (computer display). It has, on a couple of occasions read properly but that's v. rare. Rest of computer readouts are fine (oild temp etc.). I assume there's somewhere I can poke around to check connections are OK? Also, connected to the left side ...

ABS light on for 10 secs first start of day, then normal...

Hi

My ABS light always takes about 10-15 seconds to go out after the first engine start of the day... on subsequent starts it goes out near immediately as it should.

The ABS itself works fine.

Any ideas?

Heater Knob - first newbie purchase

OK...now got my first 480 (the wife *made* me buy one - huzzah!). So, the slippery slope has begun - I've just spent my first 1 quid on a heater knob... I know it's downhill from here ;-)

So, tell me, where's a good London-based service centre / specialist...?
