Damp Passenger Carpet
As the title says there's a small slighly damp patch under the mat, about the size of a fiver.
It does smell like old coolant unfortunately but the heater seems to work just fine so what could it be? A sign that the heater matrix is past it?

Windscreen Washers
My Celeb' has never had working washer functions front or rear. When you pull for the front then you hear no noise or spray they just wipe the wipers, the same happens when you try to get the rear spraying but at least you can hear the pumping trying to work. The fuses look good even though their lo...

Re: A slight screech coming from ??
I'm guessing you guys suggest changing the cap, rotor arm and leads? The car had a service about 900miles ago just before I bought it so no point changing the plugs aswell.

Re: A slight screech coming from ??
That would make a lot of sence actually as there is a slightly lumpy tick over.
How much would a replacement dizzy cost and where could I get one from cheaply in the UK?

What stereo should my Celebration have?
At the moment it has a Philips CD, it might be right I'm not sure but it has a detachable face panel so I doubt it's original.
Does anyone have a pic or model name of what should be fitted?
Cheers

A slight screech coming from ??
Once the car's warmed up and you drive with the windows down at like 40mph+ you can hear a slight screeching noise coming from the front n/s of the motor. It sounds like a worn clutch or some think but it seems to drive just fine. No loss of up hill etc. Could be anything like sticking brakes, clutc...

Re: 2L starting issues!
Yes this is exactly right! A strong smell of plastic. It starts first time now but it does have a very slow crank until it fires up and then it runs with a slightly lumpy tick over until warmed up. Probably sorted by an ignition service? Anyway I'll take the car into collage on Friday for a poke aro...

2L starting issues!
I had been for a drive in my 480 and stopped for an ice cream at a petrol station, I know weird! But when I went to start her to set off again she just clicked the once!! So I thought the starter might be playing up so popped the bonnet and had a look and a listen. Then quite a bit of smoke came out...

Very squeeky brakes!!
As the title sugests. My new celeb has got some really squeeky brakes, I've had a quick look at the discs and pads and they seem to be real low on the rear pads and the discs are very scored as well.
Does anyone know where I can get Rear Discs and Pads from??
Cheers,
Dave

car looks good... may consider a little suspension drop  hmmmm... not sure about that as the car's so original and tidy. It's still got it's original dealer sticker in the rear window, even got their keyfob!! There is a slight rust scab on the nearside sill though which I should sort ASAP. I...

Owner Booklet
Just brought a 480 Celebration and was just wondering if they should come with a Owner's Handbook as mine doesn't just the little service folder thing.
