The super Richmod used a 3 bar M.A.P sensor , an enlarged A.A.M ( air mass meter ) i.e a bigg...

Re: What turbo can I fit to my 480 turbo
get a T25 turbo , about £30 ish from a breakers , from a rover 2 litre turbo . tehn post your T2 together with your T25 to CRS http://www.crturbos.co.uk/ , and pay them £250 and they will turn both of the turbos into a hybrid with a 360 degree thurst bearing and balanced shaft . This is what the old...

Re: Boost pressure
IIRC it would be around 13 psi mark. From what i recall reading on here, the richmod gives about 12/13 psi somewhere just before cutout occurs and from what i have read people saying from owning a richmod. they says that now there cars boost meter travels all the way to the end of the yellow area. ...

They can over night ( good for your daily driver ) re surface the clutch plate in a racing compound at any thickness you like , i go for 1.5mm over standar...

Re: Turbo problem -- fuel cut when accelerating
fuel relays above shins drivers side . hardest thing to locate ever !!! and you have to contort yourself painfulls to get to them . thousands of 480's were scrapped for this . even volvo main agents could not locate this fault in some cases .

i agree with Derek ,cars can that fail emmissons on MOT can pass with just an oil change . also its worth taking out your in intercooler and cleaning it out by putting a pint of petrol in it and shaking it up and down. if you take of the pipe from the intercooler to the engine you will probally find...

Re: car failed mot - power steering leak
its a bodge , but it may be worth putting in some SLICK 50 power steering treament/stopleak , Halfords about £10 . got to be worth a go at that price , used it once on a V6 audi 80 , and it worked quite well (leak reduced by about 90 % etc)

Re: 2 litre stuttering
I had a 2 litre with exactly the same problem , it turned out to be a ill fitting little rubber blanking cap on the inlet manifold , quite common on the 2 litre as a problem cost £1.75p or baby jubilee clip 45p , so dont go and spend £60 on service parts that are going to do bugger all to solve th...

Re: Replacing break pips
Goodridge will make your pipes for about £50 in any colour you like , also get a gunson easy bleed kit for about £18 from halfords or elsewhere for less , this makes the job an absolute breeze and you can be confident that you have fully changed all the old (hydroscopic ) brake fluid , nobody ever...
