flywheel sensor?! I had the same problem and that was it. Where can I find that sensor? How did you fix it? Cheers It's the Crank Position Sensor. You'd need to replace it if it was the cause of your current problems. Made by Renix. It's above the gearbox, bolted to the side of the block with 2 11m...

There is a key to tell you inside on the panel which fuse is which. :)
LHD or RHD? :)

Could also be an ignition problem if the engine is turning over. I'd check your getting a spark aswell as fuel delivery amigo. Hope it's nothing too $$ Stu. The thing is, I was actually driving and everything was fine. It was from one moment to another that it started having those damn hick-ups. I'...

I don't have a fuse scheme. Which fuse is that? I never needed to change any fuse on the car

Arghh!! My Volvo did a shutdown on me :(

Hi fellas... Well it seems my car is witched or something. It's now having troubles more and more often. I was cruising along a country road and everything was fine, until the car started to have "hick-ups" and eventually shut down. I tried to restart and the car "almost" stand at idle but always sh...

Its a bit of a shit to do with it all in the car, if you take the air inlet tract off, you will be able to see where it goes (high pressure side of turbo) Its probably snapped off, in which case you will need to get a new bit of silicone hose, as it will be too short otherwise. I already bought a n...

Ok. Found the problem.

It's the hose that connects on the TOP of the solenoid. The END that connects there (top) is FINE, but the other end is disconnected.

Where the hell does the other end connect since I can't see shait!!?

Too much turbo pressure?

Well, as some of you know I have installed an MBC a few weeks ago. Just for caution I was running LESS pressure than the standard (turbo needle usually goes to the end of the yellow and now it was going a bit before the end of the yellow, like 3/4 of the yellow) Since I am selling my car ( ) I...

My 1989 turbo went to the end of the yellow when it was fully stock. Now it goes to the end of the red

The MBC can replce the solonoid valve. Connect the IN pipe to the turbo outlet pipe (top pipe on the solonoid). and the OUT to the wastegate actuator. The other pipes can be plugged (or left in situ) best to plug the ports on the solonoid just in case you need it again, so it doesn't fill with dirt...

Regarding this topic. My boost solenoid has 3 pipes. The one on the top is BLACK, the one on the middle is WHITE, and the one on the bottom is kinda transparent whiteish. I also noticed the solenoid has a plug connected to it (must be related to the ECU or something I guess). Now, what will I need t...

Oh right. Mmmmh try checking all the connections on the small circuit board which sits inside the speedo housing. Check all the connections for breakages although I *think* that it is manipulated by cogs which are turned by the electric speedo cog but then I had the dash from a VW apart the other d...
