Thx :) It´s quite a lot of work ... especially the electrics, but if it´s done it´s quite a lot of fun as I wrote ^^ I also was thinking about a Garrett 3070 or something similar, but ther´s much more which has to be done to run such a "big" charger. I think new injectors, other conrods,...

Hi, THX for the replies :) The 2L turbo is off the road at the moment but it´s going to be on the road again the next month. Over the winter I´m going to fix some little problems at the Golf, and after the winter my 480 is going to get some attention ... some things have to get overhauled and ...

My new Fun Car :)
Hi, at the beginning of this year had the idea to get another ( 2nd ) car which also is fun like the 480 ... so it had to be a turbo one ^^ And after some thoughts which car to take it finally was a VW Golf MK2 ... but as you probably can imagine not with standart engine. As base a Golf Mk2 from 199...

Hi, aeh I´m not that sure that its going to fit ... as far as I know are the combustion chambers different ones at the N/A and Turbo engine. One is called "Heron" and the other is called "Patargé". The turbo head is almost flat and the 2L N/A head has parts of the combustion chamber located in the...

Hi You could get 7-8 psi worth of extra fuel by increasing the fuel pressure. It would be possible to upgrade injectors later. Hmm I think the injector upgrade isn´t that easy as the B20F engine has side feed injectors and it is not that easy to find upgrade injectors which are a straight swap. I h...

Hi, my 2L engine has the oil sprays to cool the pistons, I also don´t know if it´s possible to retrofit them cause you would need the oil feed lines for the cooling jets and I don´t know f the newer version of the 2L block already had them. Also a little bit of piston machinig is needed to reduce...

Hi, about the bottom end, as far as I remember the bottom end is slightly different than the B18 one. The engine block is ~20mm higher it has another crankshaft which is forged and has other conrods. I´ve installed other bearings at the crnkshaft ( 3 material ) and the pistons are milled down a lit...

Hi, I bought some new injectors today :) At the momoent I´ve some problems with my old ones ... so I took a look at Ebay and bought some 346ccm/min Injectors. They have the BOSCH Nr. 0 280 150 951 if somebody is looking for new ones or upgrades. I think they´ll be good when running a modded engine...

Hi, here I also haven´t had the possibility to do some "quicker" test drinving with the brace installed, cause the weather here isn´t the best and with winter tyres it also isn´t that much fun driving :( But at least if the adaption with the screws/bolts is to weak, I think it´s a 5min job to ge...
