left headlight no dipped beam.
Help please. When i turn on my headlamps only the right hand one comes on. both work ok on full beam no light in left one on dip. I've checked the bulb[left] seems fine, replaced with another still no left dip checked fuses and connections. anyone got any ideas please.

hlo AAhhh. Lotus suspension ummm, Porshe tuned ummmmm, So the the f16's got an info center has it? if not what's function of the knob in an f16. Do you know if 480's got anything else in common with f16? regards joe.

not a welding mod
thanks for the pics mate it looks as though its been welded perhaps thats the way to go take a 2.0l manifold chop it just after the bolts and get someone with welding skills to weld on the tubular sections from the 1.7 manifold as to how much it would cost and what gains could be made I don't know ...

Hi all, i have just been cleaning shit out of the rubber drain pipe near the relay box under the bonnet. i happened to look at the ex manifold. i'd read the post on whether they are interchangeable. hi i had same problem. if you look down on the left of your seat, lift the cover youl see a 10mm nut twirl it with a spanner while spraying wd 40.cheers joe.

Hi pol, starting at the linkage at the gearbox should be a small rubber boot,inside theres a sort of double nylon washer and a externaly serated tube. from there i replaced the remote rod including the whole gear lever assy from inside the car.Took less than half an hour, very easy. hi friends. at last got around to fixing my hit and miss gear selection. i found a scrapper 440 with a good tight gear selection. i swapped the whole thing gear lever as well. i thought it would be a bit tricky but it was dead easy, follow haines. you too will be in 480 nirvana, only a tenner. best ...

thanks to all, checked all the fuses found a dud one,changed it, turned the key,n brrrrm brrrrm. back in zen 480 nirvana, thats what i call mine.

could it be ignition switch
i noticed through last fortnight sometimes when i turned the key there was a slight hesitation before the starter kicked in. will check the fuses. thanks for your replies.regards joe.
