Umm....... Also if anyone wants to post any specs of the ECUs then feel free. I'd do it myself, but as mentioned earlier, I am unable to. Edit: Can I please also remind you that I am not some sort of god. Then why cant you just answer if someone asks if the volumeter have a tempsensor or not..........

I don't think you should go for the 2.0L cam, try the 88 camshaft.

It has a little bit more lift and it keeps the valves open longer then the 89- camshafts(from ch541197-)

MatBat tell me what mods have you done to your cylinder head? I...

Remember the B20F don't have any piston oilcooling(according to Volvo Vadis).
So the heat might be a problem.

Thinking that myself earlier. The problem is there are not any signs of detonation (and the knock sensor wuld have picked it up). The oil spray on that cylinder was part blocked, and the piston appears to have overheated and started to melt. There is also quite a bit of burned oil on the bottom of ...

I could take my 88-480T with a 175hp chip right up to the rev.limit @6200rpm on the fifthgear.
Theoretical topspeed ~240Km/h.

In 1994 when I had my first 480T-88 I bought a 175hp chip from S.A.M. the official Volvo "tunefirm"(sp?) here in Sweden. God that car owned!! :D When I spoke to SAM about tuning my 480 and asking how much power can I get from this engine(they told me not to buy the 175hp chip because of the gearbox,...

Looking at SAABs pin layout they use pin15 as an "groundingpoint for coding", while volvo have +12v on pin 15. Only for M58 gearbox "Gear lever in position 'R' engine torque adjusted" +12v in on pin15 on LH2,2. Look in 91wiring.pdf page 35." Think im gonna try and cut the wire to pin15......just to ...

In January 1991 Volvo changed the turbo(still T2 but different house), new software in EZ210K and LH2,2. Torque raised from 175Nm to 195Nm, the M59 with new clutch(215mm,) and flywheel from CHnr 567600 was born to handle the higer torque. Still want to know IF and WHEN the M58(I think early 91) was ...

But where is the M58 gearbox :?:

If you look in 91wiring.pdf page 35(Reverse lights and crankcase heating) it says "Ignition on, gear lever in position "R". Engine torque adjusted for M58 gearbox"

And in Volvos partsbook there is no M58.
