Yeah, it actually physically yanks the pedal down. Its like cruise control that you can't turn off!! As far as I am aware the standard ECU had no means for moving the actual throttle linkage, my guess is that the LPG conversion has fitted some form of vacuum/electronic controlled actuator on the th...

Like i said....b20f The 440 is on a b18u - thus fully proving your point. How much do you know about this ecu? - It physically pulls on the throttle when i switch to lpg, so it idles at between 1500 - 3000 rpm. Something about the lpg upsets it, and i've not had time to figure out what. Its quite p...

ive always found it strange why Volvo chose to run all 4 injectors at once, but then it dawned on me - I bet the B20F ECU is similar/the same as the B18U single point ECU hardware wise; this could only control one injector - instead of altering the entire ECU design they just altered the software/MA...

White/red cable engine harness
Hi all, I'm trying to trace where the white/red cable goes in the engine harness (specifically on a B20F but I'm guessing its standard across the range) it ends up at a relay behind the dashboard (alongside the main ECU relay (with the pink cable) and the fuel pump relay (grey/red cable)). Its power...

Pull out your plugs and see what colour they are, easy way of checking how the engines running. Shaking could be anything, missfire perhaps? If it is running really rough though caning it trying to go faster than 120mph is probably not the wisest thing to do. Have you serviced it lately? I think you...
