If not, I have a cassette holder thing for the lower centre console.

I'm pretty sure Rob's 4wd idea never came to anything. Unless he's spent the last 16 years working away on it and is almost ready for the grand unveiling

Re: Rear foglights
The rear wiper issue is possibly damage/corrosion to the wiring loom between the body and tailgate glass.

Re: Nilani Blows a Hose
I think that hose is a weak point on the 2L engine. I was at a meet years ago and following a 2L 480 on the motorway. This hose let go and a cloud of steam billowed from under the car

Jeez, this is a blast from the past!
If memory serves me correctly we ended up with a party at VDG's flat and I walked about 8 miles home at 5am from one side of Glasgow to the other

That looks like a load of work but you'll be rewarded by its rarity in Russia

Re: Front and Rear Light Clusters - problem solved !
It wasn't a moan, I was pretty impressed that a bespoke hand made low volume part for a niche car could be made for so close to the oem price

Re: Front and Rear Light Clusters - problem solved !
Jeez, 200 euro seems pretty good value for the whole unit. I remember buying a pair of clear clusters brand new about 2005, they were Β£80+ each!

Re: Teves Ate abs
Thanks chaps. There's no dash lights so presume no fault code to be read. Mechanic thinks it's the seals bypassing in what would effectively be the "master cylinder" that's built into the unit.
Presumably that's the bit that the pushrod goes Into, rather than the accumulator section.

WTD: Teves Mk2 Abs unit
As per the title, I could do with one of these for a 1992 Turbo.
Anyone got one stashed away?

Teves Ate abs
I posted this on the FB page but thought I'd write here in case anyone isn't on FB. My 1992 Turbo failed its mot due to the brakes. They work fine initially but the front n/s loses braking force and the pedal sinks to the floor. I have the Mk2 abs with the big accumulator on top, unfortunately! Has ...

Re: Pre-Production car for sale in Belgium
I'm sure you could register it in the UK if you really tried. I've read of cars that have a VIN number stamped on after it's been imported and the DVLA are happy with that.
Failing that could you put it through an SVA test like a kit car?
Still far too expensive for all of that effort though

I always thought the criticism was a bit unfair, a turbo was only 12bhp down on an RS Turbo and everyone acted as if they were rocket powered

Might be worth asking at the cat rescue place he used to work at, someone there will likely know.
