Re: After 9 years and 10 months...

Paul....I admire you! Another 480- fantastic.

I doubt I'll ever have another, not because I don't want one, but because I'd never find the time to look after it.

That GT is nice too- and in a good colour. :D

480 last few parts for sale...

Hi everyone, Like so many previous 480 owners I kept quite a few little boxes of spares back, but the time has come now when I doubt I will ever own a 480 again, sad to say. Big changes in life mean that I really have to pass these on now and you guys and girls should be the benefactors, not Ebay! P...

Re: TD04 Conversion advice?

The TD04-15T from a Saab 9000 Aero might be a good choice, as they have the T25 flange. I know people fit the Saab 9000 Garrett T25's to the 480 Turbo, memory is hazy but doesn't it fit onto the early Turbo exhaust manifold??? So if that fits so does Saab TD04-15T (on a 9000 the two turbos are inter...

Re: So whos bought M427 TFC then, mine and Roo's old Turbo?

And hi to Ad and Ad! Hope you are both doing well.

I saw a 480 in an Edinburgh car park last year and left a note on it cos I thought it was Sally's.

It was! She texted me about it. Sadly I forgot to save her number....
Ally has had to get rid of his I think.

Dougie is a good guy though and always comes up with a good deal for you. Hope you got on with...

Really on a NA car you will not see too much gain for all of the work you might do and money you might invest. If it were me I would be thinking about dropping that 2.0 lump in- it will feel a bit quicker. Maybe you could mate the 1.7 box to the 2.0 engine, I can't remember if the gear ratios are di...
