Hi Murf, You can have the rear shocks for £875 and ill throw a 480 Turbo in!! I'd rather sell the whole lot together but ill let you know if I split it. Glad the MBC was OK. Yep, they certainly can bring boost on quickly can't they!! Should be about standard, or a little lower, if you back the firs...

94' Turbo for sale
'94 480 Turbo in Midnight Black. Bad points - been off road for about 9 months since failing MOT but only on handbrake effort. New discs all around and mintex pads have been fitted so this should now be fine. Car did have a spoiler on the roof so the last 6" of the roof has been resprayed. Good poin...

94' Turbo disc types???
Hi All,
I have noticed you can buy discs that include the hub and ones that don't for the 480 Turbo. Before I dismantle them/order new ones can anybody confirm the type on the 94 Turbo with ABS???
Cheers
John

It will run rich for about 0.25 - 0.5s and it will be fine. Some poeple say they lose you power long term. They shouldn't as the ECU is constantly adapting to the environmental conditions so I'd like to see some figure on that. A dump valve should never leak! If it does you have the wrong one. You a...

Hi, Don't use a bleed valve!!! They are very crude at controlling the signal and can lead to some awful boost spikes. Most of them cost the same as an MBC. I still sell MBC's and do various types...... Basic ball spring...available in aluminium, yellow or real carbon fibre. £16.50 std £21.50 carbo...

We're both right....that's what I meant! The air is denser as it is cooler and hence the ECU advances timing as much as it can. The moisture in the air helps to cool the intake charge and therefore counter detonation. I didn't want to sound like a chemistry teacher. Wrong, there is a lot more involv...

Hmm I have to disagree a bit.... I know someone who runs a 450bhp celica at santa pod and they use their anti-lag....basically it's great wherever you need to accelerate quickly but yes things will start fracturing and melting unless they are upgraded. Ever noticed how your car always seems more pow...

WRT the ecu I meant swap it out for a MOTEC or the suchlike where anti-lag is programmable. I meant that you mentioned you have a stronger turbo which should be strong enough to handle some mild anti-lag. Anti-lag, as per boost, is programmable (ignition retard/fuelling) so you can set it to hold, s...

Turning into bit of a debate this!! :) Nah, I was just trying to point out that you should tell the pros/cons of the idea because in essence there are no pluses to the idea apart from the sound as far as I can see and you could moderately recreate this using, say, three DV's with differing spring te...

Hmmmm......I don't think it will be particularily fine......it will be better! It's not so much the bearing but the impeller blades that will shatter. Lag may only be marginal but will be increased no matter what. Just saying that decreased longevity and increased lag don't really light my candle. N...

Really simple solution here guys.....search for 'carbon induction' on eBay. There's some cheap ones with a carbon body and a chrome horn. Attach ducting to the chrome horn and you have a viper for about £40....job done! .....well, on the cheap at least. A cone will always be better than the std air...
