WANTED - door lock with key (RH side/drivers)

Hi folks,

I need the complete assembly for a drivers door lock and the key/s for my 480. Or if anyone has and is willing to sell a complete set of lock assemblies for the drivers door, passenger door, boot lid, ignition and glove box?

Please let me know...

Query...?

Just bought a '97 Renault Laguna and was wondering if any of you know of any good web sites or forums? Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

It has the same engine as the 480 :D

I would imagine they provide more down force...hence the reason Volvo put them on in the first place...Volvo probably never had to worry about down force prior to the 480 due to Volvo cars being so damn heavy :D

...and they also look good

For all you motoring enthusiast, the part number is 3418231 and it set me back €20 Euros or £13.31 sterling. Looks the biz :D

Just my opinion...I think the 850 is one of the finest cars Volvo ever produced. The engineering is just top class. Like all models of cars that have various engines, rule of thumb is to buy the mid ranged engine. I believe the quality cars are the TDI and T5 and are obviously the most sought after....

Nice Volvo Bramdeman...I miss my 850 sooooo much. All you need now a set graphite 18" R alloys and your laughing. Store the 480...that's what I am doing eventhough I have no space for it (thanks for the drive Mother). I just got myself a Bandit 6  check out http://www.kalmar-union.com/ ....Don...

The switch used to work in the '88 ES I had some years ago. I must pull out the switch to see whats wrong from that end and torment myself trying to put it back together... By the way, I have my full beems on along with the LRL's and I have the front intermittant wipers on also, the LRL's go out whe...

someone posted recently that if you soak the tip of the injectors in Redex overnight it cleans off any deposit's? What else could you use?..carb cleaner???

Think this could be on the cards for mine as they are a little rattlely of late but I have my suspicions over the fuel I'm using :(

...had the starter motor reconditioned today and what a difference. It now starts like a dream :D Aparently...aparently, the Bosch design gives out after a period of time. A section of the armatige had melted, hence the failure to start. The tech reconed a weld will last 95% of the time...I reminded...

Have you been reading the manual again guitarcarfanatic ? My LRL switch?...doesn't seem to work and I don't know why? I had my LRL's out some months ago and I stripped and resealed all the glass on them with some "mitzy sealer" as they call it in the trade. They are still bone dry after nearly six m...

If you rebore what have you got left? There must be 4 or 5 mill on those linings. Or is that just the print off the headgasket I'm seeing? The Haynes as usual isn't specific. If you rebore, will original Volvo rings suit?

Go for it Martin, bring her back from the dead

I don't know about the rest of you but it looks like it welded/tacked itself to the cylinder lining. Do you recon you can clean it up and bang in a seconhand piston?

I think your index finger may be a bit loose... Clamp the clutch/c itself and turn the 10mm nut clockwise 1 to 2 revolutions and then try to get gear while sitting in the car. You can fix it to your own adjustment or what ever you feel comfortable with. If not, you may need a replacement cabl...
