Re: Climair Wind Deflectors Still Available

Just been on the Climair link and the deflectors have been taken down and the product listed as unavailable. (wasn't a couple of weeks ago when I was about to buy some) The cheapest of the other 2 mentioned above is the STX Styling one's. I received a website certificate warning when I added them t...

jamescarruthers wrote:That's odd, as less than a year ago they said they'd be happy to make a set as they keep all the dies in Germany. In fact, I can't fault their attitude and customer service.

Do you contact Climair direct and not some on-line shop that might just re-sell them?
Contacted them directly.

Re: Climair Wind Deflectors Still Available

If they are like any others they should be insanely to fit.... you just push them up into the window seal, then push the little clips under with them then when you first put the window down the clips open up then after that each time you put the window up the clip goes either side of the glass :) Ha...

Panhard Rod Bushes

Hello,

I hope this is in the correct section; I was hoping to put tougher / uprated bushes in my panhard rod - does anyone know of any for the 480 or another car that fit?

If not I may just have to buy new standard ones.

thank you,

Antony.

Re: Major Vibration Rear left passenger footwell accellerati

I would have said exhaust but you say you have checked the hangers and rubbers.

What about engine mounts? I had a similar vibration and it was actually because the rear engine mount had collapsed completely and the engine was leaning too far back on acceleration.

good luck.

Workington

There is a white 480 with none colour coded bumpers knocking around Workington in Cumbria, see it sometimes at the golf club. Anyone from here happen to be that person? :)

I am going to be rebuilding my own calipers but I may just purchase some of these as well - Use these on my car and rebuild mine as spares and for the experience.
Let me know how they go :)

http://www.wrcomposites.co.uk/automotive-custom-parts.html This is where I got my splitter from :) I actually asked him to but it in half and put a lip inside it to make it clip together to cut down on postage cost :) It worked a treat and once slipped together, small bit of filler to smooth out the...
