have you got the turbo boost pipe which goes into the inlet manifold and reads 'volov' on it?

do you have the turbo inlet pipe at all? the one that goes to the manifold which read volvo on it?

It sounds like the spring inside your dump valve is nackered either try another one or get another spring possibly a tighter one. flywheels where 200mm on the black inlets and 215mm on the silver inlets with teeth differences (These are the clucth diameter size) and i believe tdc change but don't quote me on that. My silver inlet doesn''t have water cooling for injectors and i have not seen any on silver inlet engines.

A standard clutch from a 480 turbo will start to slip after any heavy boost e.g. when fitted with rich mod so around 170bhp i would either recommend a performance 'sach' clutch which i picked up for £190 i run around 180 bhp with it and runs absolutly fine.

you can get your flywheel skimmed by 1mm for about 20 quid at any engineering shop , this may help. you could also have it treated by chilling it down to minus185degress celcius which would make it maybe 15% stronger. cheers felyx No to make any forms of metal stronger you heat the metal to a certa...

The 215mm clutch which is actually after late 1992 on chassis numbers ending in a number higher then '499' Has a completly different flywheel. If your looking to use a race spec clutch then look at any renault 5 and mk1 and mk2 clio's they use the same flywheel and clucth. I have a 215mm sach racing...

i Have a blue rich modded e.c.u Don't really think 200bhp is going to be as easy as that. Think a bigger turbo is the only way to get that, only thing with that is when your boosting more you will start to destroy your engine unless you get forged pistons and conrods.

Hi i have rebuilt my engine and have found there is no info in haynes or anything posted on the forums about how the boost pressure solinoid pipes are connected. There are 3 pipes in total and i don't have clue where they went can anyone let me know where they go?

Is it just the one ecu or both?
