my red koni's are still a lot stiffer than standard, they have off car adjustment by turning the plunger when fully compressed. stiffens both up and down more than i will ever need.

a new starter should fix it. sounds like the solenoid coil has broken down and shorts when it gets warm, which is also common on ignition coils that stop working when thy heat up.the solenoid on the starter sounds weak and if its shorted somewhere when warm its will only be partially energised, when...

the stock volvo one isnt a filter sandwich. it fits where the standard oil switch goes.

its a long shot but could you not read the eprom and make a graph of the results and see if anything resembles a map. i would think its quite likely that they will be in ordered memory locations.

do you have the little black box on the suspension turret is where it is on 480. dont know weather 440 have them.there is a wire to plug in under the lid and a led with flash codes.its on the forum somewhere. search flash codes.

do you know where abouts the overrun rpm is stored in the ecu, where the injectors are turned off on the overun. i hate the jolt i get when i press the throttle and the injectors turn back on. also id like to raise the tickover very slightly. there doesnt seem to be much info on maps anywhere. what ...

wont the knock sensor sort the timing out automatically? do you know the fuel tables for the stock ecu, or would a little more improve anything-mines a pre 91 so the emmisions arent as tight. are you going to tune it with a wide band and laptop.

arent the turbos water cooled. could be leaking. oil is usually blue smoke and smells. get a spare radiator cap, glue a tyre valve into the top and pump the cooling system up to about 15psi. if it drops quick you have a leak in hoses, radiator - head gasket. the garage can also put the exhaust probe...
