Went to the August Breakfast meet which was perfect for a morning chat, look around some very interesting cars and a sausage batch ! Met up with 5 Volvo owners at the show planning to enter the showground on the 4th October at 8.30am till middday ..... Would be great if some 480 members attended ......

Oil pressure Reading

Where should the oil pressure needle be on warm idle, mine seems to have dropped down to zero just touching the red. Oil pressure is 3/4 under load .. Thanks

I had the same problem solved mine by cleaning the air flow meter ... Easy to remove just two clips plus the sensor cable, gave it a good spray of WD40 cleaned internals with a rag ... Mine has a stable idle now ..

If you search in apps for 'HUD' there's about five in there ... Ones has camera locations inculded in the heads up display ... Only £0.59 ....

The iPhone has an HUD application download for £0.59 works really well in the 480 as the angle of the dash and window projects a very good image ... It gives speed direction and height ?! ...

Door dropping

Can I replace any parts on the door brackets to stop them dropping when the doors open as when I close mine it rubs on the bracket ..... Or do I have to put it down to general wear and tear ?

How many bolts hold the front bumper ? The bodyshop need them removed to strip the bumpers right back due to a poor re-spray before. Thanks

Instant fuel consumption

Hi, After Reading this forum I have finally fixed my instant fuel consumption Reading which was sticking at 60.5, now it reads correctly but only upto 55mph once I go above this speed it returns to 60.5mpg ! Any ideas why ?
