right, have just stripped down the dash only to find.....nothing! there are only 5 wires going to the back of the sockets and no loose wires or connections that may have come out! so as far as i can see there should only be 5 sockets. my car is a 95 so can someone with a 95 car confirm this please! ...

yes all wires go in to all the connectors so i havent a clue.

do they have a reflector or simular inside? maybe it needs cleaning? i will have a look tomorrow.

going to strip it down anyway as it needs a good clean!

had a look at both clocks and the pins are the same. no different numbers of pins. both have 4 pins three together and one on its own.

the plug that plugs in to the clock also has 4 connectors in the right place so i dont know if its that . :dunno:

Hmm I am in two minds about this.
