Do what I wrote in the post over here, and your system will be nice and tight. Use medium strips, and a plastic cork with approx. the same size as the plastic head you have. Easy as pie!

27 is pretty shitty! That's about the same as I get.. I get 14l / 100km.. That's 20.18 mpg :(
Performance is fine, it pulls good. Everything is fine, except I find the engine noisy, especially after about 2500rpm..

hi. Thanks for the reply! I've seen both those pages before, but my problem is that when I push the button, no matter which socket I put the pin in, it gives me no LED light. Previously, none of the sockets worked except the ABS part, which gave me a clean 1-1-1. Now with a new ECU (read: used) none...

Anything will work, mostly. Check to see if the connector looks the same.
Mine is like this:
Two plugs in a different angle, both on one plug.

Maybe get a Haynes 400-series manual, that's a nice start. 2£ on ebay. Other than that, there's some scannings from the haynes manual diagrams lying on some .cz website.. I googled it once, but don't remember what keywords I had. Maybe someone else remembers?

Ooh.. I just have a 460, but I've swapped my ECU, and if you don't have both an exact volvo parts number and a siemens number, it will potentially give you a world of pain. For my car it's about 20 different ECUs, and only a couple will work at most. And probably not those with most matching numbers..

I just replaced mine with a scrapped one, fixed most of my problems. Is your battery bad or something? If you're concerned about this, you should run 50mm2 wires from alternator to battery, use a proper power splitter, and maybe upgrade some wiring and go over the earthing here and there.. Things co...

Hold your horses there, mate. There has been reported problems with corrosion and bad contacts on the analogue gauges of the volvos with renault engines. Also, I've seen busted gauges alot. Both the analogue fuel gauge and the temp gauge should read 50 ohm, and you should spray the brass nuts giving...

I bought a brand new one in the norwegian store Biltema. Cost me less than 8gbp (and remember, everything is more expensive over here). Pretty much everything will work. My tube into the tank had a bit too small dimension, I just used some duct tape around it and forced it in, now it works like a ch...

You should clean the crank sensor maybe. Lots of guides on it!
And check it's resistance, it should be 220 ohm +/- 20

This kinda happened to me, the dsc adn the screw bit kinda snapped off, and only the valve itself was left. Fixed it with sandpapering a plastic cork, putting it upside down. Used plastic welding to weld it to the part i snapped off. Made four holes for strips to come through it on the side, so that...

Kondensfjerner means condensation remover, yes.
Irradic idle can be caused by cooling problems and a bad idle regulation valve. And other things guess..

I've been noticing that under the carpet in my rhs footwell, there is moist under the carpet.. But I never understood where it came from. Perhaps my heater matrix is leaky? It also has air bubbles, but without the airing screw, how can I bleed the system properly? Try to just squeeze the hose until ...

I drive a 460, and I have the exact same thing. But I broke my airing valve and had to seal it, so if it's just air, I can't get it out.
But it sounds like a water tap in there.. Cooling is fine, no leaks, nice temperature, heater matrix works. Don't think you need to worry.

Wanted: ECU

My ECU doesn't seem to be grounding the fuel pump relay and the relay next to it.. So they won't click, and i get no power to fuel pump, so it won't start.

The numbers are: 472948/02.

Anyone have one? :(
