Re: How to do a 710N recirc valve upgrade!
yeah the atmospheric dump valve isn't any good for the B18FT since it has a MAF meter.. I learnt this the hard way cos I had bought one and since I had it fitted it started going rich and having idle and running problems then I realised it's all due to the dump valve messing up the MAF reading so I ...

Re: How to do a 710N recirc valve upgrade!
I put everything back to original... I didn't really like how this works, probably better off removing the whole idle control setup and start it off with a low idle and get to about 900rpm when it's warm I gave the idle control motor and the diaphragm valve a good clean with some carb cleaner and it...

Re: How to do a 710N recirc valve upgrade!
yes it's definitely open... and the mod actually does make sense cos the valve is open only on idle due to the vacuum sucking it open (when air is needed for engine to idle correctly) and it's closed when the throttle is open and there's no need for that extra air I tried disconnecting the ICV but i...

WANTED : turbo fuel injectors
Already through my second set of injectors  They're getting stuck from storage (don't really use the car much).. tried to take them for ultrasonic cleaning and one of them is still stuck and the guy told me that the others aren't that good either. SOOO... I'm needing a set of GOOD turbo (B18FT)...

WANTED -- Turbo injectors and engine wiring loom
I need a set of turbo injectors and an engine wiring loom to go with green & blue ECU's (I believe that would be post 1991/92).
Would need shipping to Malta, but that hopefully shouldn't be a problem (by royal mail/parcel force).
Thanks

Re: Where can I get a turbo to manifold gasket?
Here in Malta it's a 100% impossible to find any of the gaskets for a turbo engine... so whenever I needed one I drew it on AutoCad and cut it from 2mm copper sheet using water jet.
If you need any of the drawings let me know

Re: MAF hose
I have replaced mine with a series of aluminium and silicone pipes. You'll need one 90 degree aluminium pipe with same outer diameter as turbo, another 90 degree with same diameter as MAF, a silicone reducer for both and 2 straight couplers. I have then welded a small piece of pipe to make a fitting...

Re: Sensor question
It is a heater element. To prevent formation of ice in the winter from condensed water vapour from the breather. You can imagine what would happen if a piece of ice falls into the turbo. Thanks for your reply ! :D Then it is useless for me, as I live in Malta. Odds are water vapour would turn into ...

Sensor question
What is the sensor on the intake/MAF hose at the end of the engine breather pipe ?
And will it effect the running of the engine if it is unplugged ?
Thanks
