The fluoring replaces the calcium in your bones, causing you bones to swell and become a weak, jelly-like substance if you get enough of it. I am in the process of getting to the fuel pump to connect it to 12V, but I think this is a bit of a red herring. If it were purely the fuel pump I would be expecting a spark at the ignition end, but there is no spark either. Anyway, because I am now grasping at straws, I will connect the fuel pump ...

It is not the crank sensor.
I have changed this for a new unit (exactly the same) and the problem persists.
