Think this is one in North Belfast, guy has a beard. He's not on this as a mamber but Paul on here lives in the same street so theres 2 kicking about Belfast plus my old white one which is now owned by the guy who owns the retro shop in North Queen street! Theres a bit of usless info.

I had a similar problem once. Only I angle grinded both sides of the lower ball joint off. Then try to figure out how to tap the pin out when the driveshaft is on top and that is the side you have to tap it out... :D we did this yesterday with a 30 ton press, haven taken the hub completely off an g...

Yes mate, some 440's have them and some dont. Any rear anti roll bar of the 400 series will fit and yes the mounting points are there. Try putting pressure on your clocks near the info center side..it might stop the info center googling up then you'll know if its the info center unit itself!

All sorted! since it took this time from my first post I managed to remove the passenger light, re fit another motor from a spare drivers side! Be sure however to know the position of the motor is in before fitting to the light!!! As it took most time fiddling at this part.

As jim says above. But also a temp fix, like you suggested, take the fuse out and manually wind them up.

5/2/09 On Tuesday night I got so fed up with the pop ups I went out and bought a 440td. So It (480) has been parked up. Today (thursday) I had a brain wave. ok heres a quick update. the passenger side pop up when closed remains to still bob up and down untill i either turn off the key or time it right so as when it closes 'blip' the rotary switch on again then it closes. Its freezing outside and the headlights have got worse. Dont think i need the switch or relay as these have been tested ok. Now headlight motors spring to mind??? more so as when pop ups go down the nearside keeps opening and closing...heard this may be a micro switch. For now I have taken the fuse ...

ok, yea just took apart that relay and it looks brand new inside. IM thinking it is the rotary switch then? just tested the lights tonight and they seem fine now but ill try tomoorow more so when the engine is warm. In the mean time Jim you can send me a pm about posting me out a rotary switch? Than...
