Volvo 480 Club Europe

Check the earths near the alternator in the mounting where the engine shock absorber is.
There must be three wires in the bottom right screw from that mounting, one of them is the earth for the info center.

I had the same problem in mine, the terminal was damaged, replaced it and it works now.

Got myself 3 liters of TransELF NFJ which is the replacement for the old TRJ for Jxx Gearboxes, let's hope 3 liter are enough for now!

This thing is expensive, got it at a Renault delaer at €21.24 per liter!

Hi, From what we have discovered, B18E uses low impedance injectors and B18FP uses hifh impedance ones. Apparently they are the correct injectors then, at least in terms of impedance. Only need to find out the flow and what type of nozzle i should use.
Once again they only mention bendix deka #3823 for which i cant find any information of!

Still one thing i can't understand... 0280150130 injectors are low impedance ones, but injectors found on vehicle were high impedance... Can the ECU cope with low impedance? Why were the injectors fitted on the car high impedance ones? Does anybody have some pictures taken from B18FP engine injector...

So what injectors does the B18FP use? What reference, cc/min?

Checked them they are as follow:

S 101706101 B and there is also a 5 number digit: 89284

Does it ring any bell??

0280150130 are low impedance ones, my fuel system uses high impedance injectors, so i should only use either:

0280150740 - 156 cc/min or
0280150741 - 200cc/min

Both of them are high impedance.

Measured the injector impedance on all four injectors and the values i got were ranged between 14.3 and 14.6 ohms, so high impedance injectors. From this i can conclude one of the following: - either it was running on injectors it shouldn't, or; - injectors are correct but information on volvo parts...

Interesting, the tops of the injectors are different, bendix are black, bosch are silver.
I was thinking in having them supersonically cleaned, but i might be able to get the bosch part cheaper.
