indeed no way this engine fits in a 480. The picture of the engine bay is not a 480 and the ad also states the engine is a 1700cc, so classical mix-up of pictures.

nothing, B18FT is for volvo only.

did you already check if the plastic nob itself is not broken? try removing it (remove the plastic in the centre and with a nr10 you can remove it from the seat)

Well, the VIN is just a sequential sequence of build numbers. I've no Idea if volvo built the 250 GT's in one batch or not. Don't think it really matters. sure, but all need to keep in mind it is part of the structural integrity of the car, especially when somebody rear-ends you in a crash... Ok fair enough, a rusty one is also not helping, however if yo put something else you would like to be sure it is at least of the same quality (preferably better...
