You want horror? Go look at the infamous Rover 100 crashtest, a test SO bad, that it vanished from sales less than 2 years later.

Video is of a Renault Clio.

Those are not genuine Norwegian license-plates. All legal marks are missing and the letters DG have not been issued.

Re: Volvo 480 in Film

In general there are car-agencies that rent out cars for movies. Also private owners may list their cars at an agency. Search for "car rental movie".

Re: TV channel +1 (timeshift service)

I've got iTV4+1 back, they seemed to have dropped that particular channel but there was another one. Not so for Be+1 though.

Re: TV channel +1 (timeshift service)

iTV Be +1 and iTV 4+1 no longer broadcast the same -1.
Also iTV 4 does not broadcast the current Premier League of Darts. I suppose it went to Sky exclusive?

Reply hot off the press from the seller on eBay... New message from: 2011sarahc1983 (773) ... but some times u may have to turn key before power goes to the engine... To be fair it was a quick reply, and addressed all of the points I'd asked for clarification. Seller appears to be a bona-fide eBaye...

1 Cetus

My 480 had the Cetus wheels and to my taste they were very elegant.

Re: Very Very clean one on C&C, 21k miles

I wonder if the bumpers are replacement bumpers, left uncoloured? For as much as I know only very early and basic 480's had black bumpers. At least over here.

The luscious paintwork probably has had a thorough polish. Expect it to fade.

Re: Just how safe should I feel?

Here's a bad crash on x-mas morning 2011. While intoxicated the driver hit a road barrier, causing the death of the passenger. It's hard to tell from the images if the passenger had used the seat belt. Even when belted the passenger may have suffered head injuries from the roll over. The driver was...

Re: Volvo 480 book

Delighted to say that the Dutch book about the 480 I have been English-language editing and partially re-writing is finally finished. :D It starts with the background of Volvo coupes and follows the 480 from conception right through to the end of production. Along the way it sheds light on some of ...

Re: Anyone had experience with Mk1 Cavaliers?

Frankly I've never driven a Cavalier, but many times the Opel version of it. If you like rear-wheel drive cars they are good and fun to drive. Make sure to have one with a bigger engine though.

Re: msn article from May

It's a front wheel drive, and a good one. But it is not nor drives like a rear wheel driven car. For that a driveshaft to the rear is needed. This does not mean the 480 is less or not good. But it's fwd not a rwd period. Nobody by the way will ever have discussions how a rwd drives like a fwd. The w...

On the subject of losing the nut down inside, I'd stuff a good sized rag in to form a bung for the nut to land on.
That is really clever. A sponge also will do.

A friend sent me some images of drawings, models and prototypes of the nose-job that never made it into production.

I suppose these are well known and no need to up them all?
