Re: Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used

OK I am back, apologies to all. No excuses, my business has just gone down the pan for want of a better word. I have been working in the middle of no-where, literally, no phone lines or mobile connection. I am now effectively un employed so I have all the time in the world to sort out the mess I hav...

Re: Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used

£25 including delivery sound reasonable?

Its been re lacquered, but I did use Halfraud's own brand.

I polished the chrome surround but the plastic bit with the badge in it is a bit crap.

Re: Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used

Delivery shouldn't be more than about £9, I'll have to use alot of bubble wrap to keep it safe!

Re: Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used

The grille isn't too bad, its in one piece. Just a couple of fins cracked and I've refixed them with wire and glue, and I did fit an aluminium mesh behind the gaps in the fins.

The fog light lenses are both cracked.

Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used

The sad day has finally arrived!! The reign of the 'precious' is over. Her car-cancer is terminal. Lots of bits for sale, some new and boxed some nearly new and obviously, whatever original parts you require, just ask. I want to give you guys first choice for obvious reasons. Whatever isn't sold in ...

Computer or Forum issue?????????

I've just spent 2hours putting together a comprehensive list of parts that I am selling with pictures and bells and even whistles and clicked on the submit button with my exhausted arm and I was asked to sign in again. So I dutifully signed in 'again' to find a completely blank page. Everything I ju...

Inhibitor relay location for pop-up motors?

I've searched as many threads as poss on this subject so I thought I would resurrect the question. My pop ups won't pop up when the rotary switch is on the headlight setting, the actual lights work fine. I can raise them manually but then when the bonnet safety switch is engaged the motors pop them ...

I'd go for a roots type supercharger personally (or a G-lader to stay in keeping with 480 heritage), turbo wiring loom and ecu's and a transverse mounted intercooler. I just love the sound of supercharged engine....

one day ;)

The N7Q is basically the 16v version of the F3R (with the air injection system to heat the Cat quicker) as I understand it. The block is virtually identicle to the F-series, not sure about the crank or pistons as I haven't had to remove them yet. Its got Volvo cast in to the head in several places f...

F3R is the Renault version of the B20F isn't it Ettore? I'd go for an N7Q if you're thinking of swapping the engine Esta, I've been contemplating it myself for a while. Its a fantastic engine, never let me down and it should be pretty easy to squeeze some extra ponies out as it was detuned to 140bhp...

I'm being over-sensitive! "wrist flops over" oooooooh Seriously though, you're gonna love the corners but hate the bumps, and its worth considering replacing all the bushes, drop links and fitting shorter shocks if you keep the stiffer springs on for any length of time. I'd stick with Sachs tbh, not...

White Jreg A217 Sutton /Bicester /Shefford A507

Last night, parked up close to the A217 05:00hrs, black bumpers, orange lenses pretty tidy from what I could see. Also spotted white turbo, also Jreg parked opposite the garage before the railway bridge (on the road with the speed-camera that never issues tickets) coming in to Bicester, around 03:15...
