I don't know if that's the case with all models; with mine, it is. Some time ago I've read something about an "ABS extension" (don't know how ...

In The Netherlands the 480 costed around € 26.000 in 1995, but we've got a lot of different taxes on new cars. In the UK it costed probably less.
Maybe you could try a site of an insurance company.

I don't know if this works in MySQL, but in MS SQL Server you can use:
SELECT DISTINCT country, COUNT(*) FROM members GROUP BY country;

it's something like that.. the distinct and count keywords are the words you're looking for :)

I've got a Sony head unit (don't know the type number) with MP3 support. You can put several albums on 1 CD, and skip to the next or previous directory (album) using a button. I think almost all MP3 head units support directories, but it's a nice feature. If I were you I'd buy a head unit with MP3 s...

It's on oil after starting the car, and when the oil temperature is raising I start using the turbo and put the info centre on range.

Don't know if there's any good navigation software available for linux/*bsd..
Bluetooth would be nice. If you want to use the PC as a carkit for your phone, you need modified drivers when using Windows; dunno if they're available for linux.

Very nice!
The Lilliput screen you used is very popular for in-car use, nice to know it fits in a 480.
Are the buttons necessary, or can you cover them?
