Yer looks like fun. The whole point about track days is you can find your own car's limits in a safe environment :D
I'm probably going to do Donnington first as it's a track I'm familiar with.

Track day

I'm really keen to put my new 480 through it's paces round the track. I'm thinking Donnington/Silverstone/Rockingham
I'm going to pick something from bookatrack.co.uk since I've used them before and they are very good.
Anyone else interested? if we get a good croud together we may get a discount.

But the whole point of car forums is to get, and share answers to questions, mostly problem related. Let's be honest, The 480 is no Toyota when it comes to reliability. Still a good car though. I brought my 480 to replace my MR2. And I have to say it handles and goes pretty much as good as the MR2. ...

The owner will be expecting you to test all the electrics, so test everything i.e Computer, wipers, popups, lights (all, incl fogs) window washers front and back, wipers, Heated seats/fan blower etc etc. Check the rear arches ...

More info

OK thanks everyone for the replies. I now need more info on this. I'm assuming then my current setup, with just a 'low oil pressure' light simply uses an oil pressure SWITCH i.e. high pressure = switch off. Low pressure = switch and dash light on. Whereas the 480's fitted with an oil pressure dial u...

Gauges under the radio

My '93 480 doesn't have the 2 (3 for a turbo) gauges under the radio. I think I can get the gauges and panel housing from a breakers. I'm ok with wiring up the volt meter but where is the oil pressure gauge connected? I'm assuming it'll be near the oil filter. Will I need to fit a sender or do I sim...
