Got the "new" maf from Germany in the mail today. Fitted it and the car runs fine! Best 30 euro i've ever spent!

Okay, I've finally ordered a new throttle posistion sensor (38$ with shipping from USA) and a used MAF off a 91 480 turbo (29 euro with shipping from Deutschland) of ebay. Went to MOT\EU test last week, CO levels were through the roof with the maf disconnected and the front brake pads were worn out....

Thanks! I'm gonna try cleaning the maf one more time and change the throttle posistion sensor. My MOT test is due this month and I fear my CO levels are way too high at the moment....
Anyone know online stores with cheap throttle posistion sensors they cost around 100£over here, maybe thats normal.

Checked the sensor at the block and at the ecu. It seems fine. Fuel consumption went down from 19 litres pr 100km to 15 litres pr 100 with the maf unplugged. It also starts easy and idles good (even in Drive..) But if i give it too much throttle with the maf unplugged then the engine stalls @ 1000rp...

Okay, did some more testing. *Sympthoms: Car is hard to start. Dies when throttle is applied (when cold and sometimes when hot) and uses awful amounts of fuel. It reads 19litres pr 100km. Its -10 celcius outside and after i cleaned the maf he car runs (even more) like shit. Same symphtoms, just worse. It uses 16 litres\100km and misfires throughout the range. It stalls and dies everywhere. At least when the engine gets hot it idles and i dont have to use both pedals (auto tranny) to ...
